That's great Louis, how about towards the end of this month - say Tuesday 26th or is a weekend preferable? How does that suit you Dyfan? Is there anybody else that would like to tag along?

That's great, weather permitting of course. Where would you suggest we meet - can we obtain permits on the day? Anybody else who would like to come along is more than welcome.

Sorry it's too far for this old dodderer! Best wishes, anyway. Re other lakes. (Maybe the same one...) You might be interested in this video from Luke Bannister. He is clearly not revealing where exactly:

Chaps Roger Smith and I went to Ffynnon Lloer a while ago. It is a stiff hike up from the A5 of about an hour and a quarter. I would take walking poles with you for security without a doubt. It is an extremely clear and shallow lake with a pale bottom and you can see fish clearly and to be honest all the fish we caught were quite far out so not sure if Tenakara would be ideal. Sorry to be a bit negative but it is fact. You do need to make sure you have a ticket as locals will challenge you even way up there! I hope this may help boys

Thanks for the advice - we intend to take conventional gear as well as Tenkara - we'll let you know how it goes!
