Lost my nippers and forceps and zinger last trip but one! Looking for "perfect " replacement for old man with shakes ,bad eyes and no memory for knots! Knock at the door and late gift from Santa! The Minke fly fishing tool. Not cheap but what a great design & functionality. Now to find way not to lose it!!! minkeflyfishingtool.com

Looked at the minke site. Have similar problems with eyes, fingers and, therefore, knots. Might indulge too! Website looks a bit dated, but I guess it works as you received one?
That apart, all their pictures show a bare hook. How do you find it with dressed hooks at typical tenkara sizes (say down to an 18)?

Met Louis (Hendrie ) always brings me luck! He was guiding two chaps so fished downstream for under 2 hrs . 4 grayling to LH special. Then watched his clients get both grayling& WBT from upstream ! Left them to it as they had payed both day ticket guiding fee! Good day more tomorrow .

Mark: i've been catching for weeks on SK so go for it, trout especially have locked onto them in the past couple of weeks. If your river has Grannom then make a grannom SK !
Enjoy that special rod...

Tungsten Black bead Polyphaetis- for bright days and spooky fish. From on stream guide has just given me my best two hours on the tone with 3 grayling and bootifull wild brownie to 8/10 inches. Can endure checkouts now M
