Hi All
I plan to have some time spare in Winchester at the beginning of November. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any grayling fishing that does not cost arm leg and new mortgage!

Try the Rod Box in Winchester Richard - I'm sure they have beats , probably in the region of £40/day.

Far, far too late with this information, but...
It might be useful to know that there is a good free stretch of the Itchen in the town (I've caught a few grayling opposite what used to be The Mash Tun). The navigation canal is also free to fish and occasionally has a pod or two of grayling.
I went to Uni in Winchester and fished the free bits occasionally.
