Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've recently come across this book ont' interweb. You can buy a reprint from Amazon or download a pdf from here:

(hope this link works) Discusses fly fishing using spiders, and worming and describes bags of several dozen fish for a day's fishing. Also has notes about where to find seatrout. Worth a read.

I always catch and release on Manx water and I very much care about the wild brownies we have here on the Island.
