Has anybody got any experience on the twiss at Ingleton, I'm normally splashing about in urban streams but fancy a day out in the dales, I walked Ingleton falls last year with the wife and daughter and spotted rising fish, looks ideal for tenkara. The other option would be go fish my club water on the nidd at ramsgill but I've never been up there and thinking that it's possibly 7' #3 territory

I fished the R. Twiss two years ago. Here's a short video: Fab tenkara water although jungle bashing at times is require to gain access. Watch out for some deep holes also. As consequence you will no doubt have the whole river to yourself. In the video I'm using a Nissin Fuji Air Stage 410cm 6:4 with a hand made furled line just over a rod length and 6X copolymer tippet of about 4'. The kebari that did the damage that day is one rarely featured on forums or facebook: The Asahi Kebari. This one tied by myself: See Mr Fujioka's marvelous website, My Best Streams, for some kebari inspiration. Scroll down the page for fascinating information about tenkara and kebari. Cheers Phil
