Chris You are in a great area and have some great guys up your way. I would suggest a meet with some of them and get yourself started! The Dee is a superb river and Orange Otter is your man for all things Dee. Simon is the Alyn man. Good luck with your new pursuit; you will find loads of good stuff in these pages. Tight lines Glyn

Hi Chris,
I'm also from Wrexham. One of my biggest problems is trying to decide where to go fishing, as there are so many excellent spots on both rivers for tenkara. Also you have fantastic opportunities for grayling fishing. This forum has been extremely helpful and what orangeotter doesn't know about the Dee, isn't worth knowing.
Tight lines,
Dyfan
