Totally , and yet when I posted this same clip on another (general fly fishing) forum - the basic response was "that was a boring video" and "what is so special about that?" Which is funny, because you know that there wouldn't be a hope in hell that the naysayers could put out a loop with a level line like that.

that was quite a video. It was interesting that he used a large amount of wrist in his casting and very little arm. There was another video which was interesting. he Euro tenkra one. I think he had some very interesting casts.

Very impressive loop control & line speed. Some of the casting strokes reminded me of the Italian Style of Casting which is also all ablaut loop size & line speed with light lines & very long leaders.
