A tip which I got via Stu Crofts! If you fit the Fuji EZ clips "the wrong way round" they don't spring open & they hold the line more securely. See attached picture. Dave

I've mentioned this to a few people. It's a bit tricky winding the line on but once closed they do hold the line better and the rod can be put away more securely without flipping a keeper and the line springing off.

When winding on with the clips set this way just run the line along the rod blank till it clips in: only slightly more difficult than when they are set the other way.
Also having them set this way they can be fitted into a rod quiver without catching onto the other rods & unclipping.

That is a great idea ez keepers drive me up the wall springing forward. Thinking out side the box, I like it.
