Well done Malc.. I'm sure these are the first of many fish to your Tenmkara. On pocket water streams with a brisk flow I recon that Tenkara at least doubles my catch rate (not that catching lots of fish is the most important thing, but Tenkara removes the frustration of not being able to present a fly effectively in awkward spots).

Dave Surprisingly the two better fish came from the same relatively slow pool which made it a more satisfying result. It would have been interesting to see how many fish a more experienced Tangler would have caught. Anyway, onward and upward. I now need to research some other burns and give them a go. I find Bruce Sandison's book on the lochs and rivers of Scotland invaluable when looking for new places.
