Hi Andy The camera was only available in the USA? It's called the "Tachyon XC". Designed for motorcycle use but is waterproof to 10mts. Below is a link to their web site. www.tachyoninc.com/Simon

ah... you've answered my question. I guess the second question is: I guess you've attached your camera to a pole. What kind of pole and what kind of mount did you use? Do you have a way of seeing live video from the camera so that you know what you're pointing at? any other interesting experiences with the camera? Hans

Hi Hans. I use a bamboo pole around 5ft, the camera is attached with electrical cable ties. You have to take a lot of video as there is no external viewer, so it's exciting when you get the footage onto the computer, you never know what you've got. Just taken some more video this past weekend, watch the site for my next posting.

this is interesting. I like the size of this vs the Go Pro or VIO, plus it's quite inexpensive. Perhaps a piece of telescopic aluminium might be handy instead of the bamboo so you can slip it under your belt or something while wading. Curious what kind of mount and strapping you're using for when you attach it to your head or cap. Hans
