Hi,
I'm a complete Tenkara newbie fishing the Rivers Tamar, Inney and Fowey in Cornwall.
I've been a Japanese lure fishing addict for a few years now but wanted to switch it up and fish some of the fly only waters for a change.
I'm looking forward to getting involved.
Cheers,
Matt

Hi Matt
Looking forward to hearing how you get on on the Cornish streams. Will you try for Peal? Richard

try the Hayle above the salt barrier near the turnoff for st ives ... looks good with shoal fish up to and above st earth station. i've also had some salt water success at swanpool near falmouth fishing with small bass flies with my ESO 360 rod from the rocks along the bay. even a small mackral seems like a tarpon ..lol We live in yorkshire but spend a long weekend every month with family and friends at tolgus mount near redruth ... Wife is born and bred south yorkshire pit village girl, but family are true cornish from truro and mitchell ..8 generations, . modern families .... very confusing ..lol
