First vist of the year to the Don at Hillsbrough, Sheffield, on the hunt for Grayling. Fished behind the Casino / next to Coopers car breakers. One lovely bright Grayling to about half a pound at Coopers bridge. Despite the attention of the, grandson of doom', re-enacting world war 2 on the bank ...although he goes very quiet and thoughtful when there is a fish in the net to see!! Moved down river to the substation access bridge. Another small grayling and a small WBT. Left the kebaris at home and fished on a gold bead hares ear with good effect. Beautiful morning, so warm jackets and fleeses where thrown on the bank and t - shirts ruled...
