I have been wondering about a holiday on the IOM, and trying to find info on the net about trout fishing on the island. There are two licenses one for stillwaters and one for rivers. Do you then need to have some form of written permission to fish, a day/week permit or membership, like in the England and Wales. Or does the fishing license cover you for fishing.

Yup I'm in the Isle of Man ... Anyone wanting to come and fish on the Island, just let me know and I'm more than happy to show you the rivers.
Hope to see you in May/June Hobgoblin.
