I was reading an article about catch and release and that circle hooks are the best hooks to use as they do less harm to the fish.
Has anyone tried them tenkara fishing yet? I thought they may be suited to the killer bug style of fly.

Yes, I have used them successfully. I believe the theory is that they usually catch in the corner of the fishes mouth. One day a couple of years ago when I was fishing for grayling they seemed to make all the difference between success and failure. I had hooked and lost about 7 fish in a row, but on changing to a fly tied on a circle hook(Fulling Mill, with the barb crushed down) I caught nearly every subsequent fish that I hooked.
I have been told that you shouldn't strike when using circle hooks, but I have not found this.
Chris.
