Fished the river coln at fairford on friday. The water level was very low due to the lack of rainfall we have had in the last month.
I fished tenkara style with an 11ft Iwana. Fished with a small gold headed nymphj.
Caught 8 brown trout largest was 12 inches.
The weather was extremely hot and the river was very clear. Spooked more fish than I saw.
Kind regards

Well done.
12" brown is good fun on the T. Did she jump?

;Di was amazed how well the tenkara rod handled the fish and how forgiving it was during the fight.
its certainly the best fly fishing method i have used.
