Hello I went pike plugging at Grasmere today, I caught I few Jack Pike but got board very quickly. The T rod is always with me so I thought I'd see if I could catch anything on that. I had 3 lovely little Perch and lost a real wopper. In my excitement a didn't realise the camera was on black and white setting. Im

Yes, B&W image does that perch a treat--ah, if Ansel Adams had taken up tenkara...nice one Paul!

Thank you but it's a shame it was in black & white at it was a lovely marked fish.
stevie, the fly was one of my own concoctions a spider pattern made from a pheasant tail with flash in it. It's one of my favourite all round flies. I've caught loads of wild brownies and sea trout on it. It's extremely simple to tie, it has to be if I'm tying as I have no patients and clumsy hands. It's the fly I caught the big sea trout on at the end of may.
When I get home I'll try post some pictures of the fly and how to tie it.
