This will be my third season fly fishing after migrating from course fishing ad have ever looked back.
Discovered Tenkara through my interest in backpacking. Just received my Tekarausa Hane from backpacking light.
Moving from course to fly fishing I loved being able to carry very little kit. Tekara takes this to another level.
Had my first session on the river Aire this weekend. Had 2 grayling to a czech nymph 2 to a #18 klinkhammer (presetation was perfect with the tenkara) and a brow trout to a tiny bead head.
Feeling the fish take on the Hane felt instant and great fun.
Tied some Tekara flies last night and hoping to try them tonight on a local stream. Will take cap cam and post the results.

Thanks Simon
Things didn't go quite to plane today.
All I got was two hours of me struggling in the wind.
Usually take my cap cam so will post any good footage in your video section.
