Nice fly Cust.
Im going to go all UK Tenkara camera club on you now mate.
The close up shot of your fly is very good & high lights the detail very well. Is it done with a macro lens? If not what other method are you using if you dont mind me asking please.
Regards Stevie.

Pete, Turkey quill comes dyed in all sorts of colours so I guess I can make them in any variety of colours. I could even use Pantone pens on a white quill before tying it in for an even greater range.
Stevie, Just my ordinary old Pentax Optio compact that I use for all my fishing shots. It has a macro mode. For detail you need to get the lighting right. This one was a bit over exposed but I blurred the other shots.
Thanks thetroutfly.... so where are the pictures?
Cust.

The fly in my pic and many of the others I've posted are tied with a reverse hackle. Your fly looks just fine.

Alex that is sized 2, 0.45mm 100% natural silk bead cord. Now I've sorted hooks (in stock soon) I'll be stocking the bead cord as well. You've a much more modern version of the camera. Mines an Optio W10.
