dave1972, Good looking flies you've tied there...... I see you've done this before They'll certainly take fish..how could they refuse ;D I hope the river conditions start to turn more favourable down your neck of the woods...it would be nice to see some photos of a couple of grayling nailed with these little beauties. leckie

I just received through the post 25 x size 14 kamasan B110 hooks and a packet of hen hackles feathers....so I'll tie some flies up this week and post them on the forum in the near future. leckie

hi leckie, the kebaris tie up really nice on 110's and i prefer a curved shank to a straight. im still experimenting with threads to find one that i like.at the moment im using some unknown stuff that i got from flyshop for 70p in bargain bin(the grey kebari). its kinda like a fine flossy material but ties really nice. i like to try keep my thread body kebaris very slim like northern spiders or your clydes........

dave1972, The flies that came through the post are of the curved variety, which is good for me 'cause I've always tied flies on straight hooks. Yeah.. I think I'll tie the body quite sparsely like them northern spiders and clyde type flies like you suggest. I'll need to buy more materials...I'm using my wife's sewing thread at the moment leckie

dave1972, Yeah... I have seen it...that's why I'm using the wife's sewing thread. I always thought you had to use prewaxed thread for fly tying. leckie
