hi everyone.
I have been fishing tenkara since 2009 after a chance encounter with a fishing guide on the river coln (Gloucester). From there I did some research on the Internet and came across minimal information mainly from the USA and some Japanese websites using google translate.
I enjoy the minimalist approach, the ability to take a small amount of equipment and enjoy fishing. I fish mainly small rivers around Hampshire, Gloucester and dorset.
I have recently been developing and creating leather bags/wallets which I will be testing this season; they have been developed based on a minimalist approach where I can have all my tenkara equipment in one place.
My goal for 2016 is to built my own tenkara net, something that I have been putting off for. While now.
I will try and upload some photos of the rivers I fish and the designs and review for my minimalist leather tenkara equipment bag.
Kind Regards wovennymph.

Welcome to the forum Wovennymph. Looking forward to seeing some of your bags in due course. Lots of info on net construction within these pages from some of the members as well. I am in Worcestershire so fish the Coln occasionally with friends but mainly the Wye and Usk systems. Enjoy your Tenkara; the minimalist approach has a lot going for it as you say. Glyn
