Hi All,
Just joined the forum this week and hoping to get my first tenkara rod at the end of the week.
I mainly fish the Ribble and the Hodder for salmon/sea trout, but looking for something to keep me occupied in the winter/spring or when there just has been no rain. I love what appears to be the simplicity of tenkara and I can't wait to get started - that's if it ever stops raining.
In the meantime I'm reading everything I can (including Paul's emails) and just about to order the DVD to hopefully give me a better insight, no doubt loads of questions will follow once I get started

Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth og knowledge and experience here that you can tap into. I've always fancied the Hodder after a brief stay at the Inn at Whitewell for a wedding.

Welcome Kickingk, I'm sure you will love Tenkara and it's a great method for sea trout you can land them quicker I think on tenkara with the right rod.

Welcome to the forum. You will not regret buying the DVD I promise you. Smart idea also to read the previous posts to absorb it all. Have fun with your Tenkara Glyn
