Hi Guys I picked up this book recently following a recommendation from one of my Twitter folks. A nicely presented book with plenty to interest the Tenkara nation. Morgan Lyle claims that it is not an 'how to tie flies' book but it looks pretty good to me with excellent illustrations. However, of more interest, perhaps is the acknowledgement that Tenkara has truly arrived in mainstream fly fishing with comprehensive features on both Daniel Galhardo & Chris Stewart. The 'Tenkara Bum' even features on the book's frontispiece. I bought the book through Amazon MarketPlace for about ten pounds delivered. Now that I have put off shoulder surgery for the foreseeable future I hope to use the book to good effect this winter to stumble my way through some of the of Morgan's examples. Looks worthy of investigation especially with some Tenkara emphasis and input. Thanks for posting this Glyn

I know it is a personal view but, I do not think you can replace a book. There is something far more tangible about it which I do not think you can have with electronic media. Maybe it's my age! I wonder what others think? Just been to an antique tackle fair at Redditch today and always seem to gravitate to the book shelves. It would be interesting to hear views on this. Happy reading Glyn

Good points Mark. We need to have sufficient brownie points accrued to escape to the river regularly for sure! Glyn
