I'm living in Belgium. After 25 years of western flyfishing, i've discovered tenkara fishing.

Welcome to the forum Flyman. Lots of good stuff here. Out of interest where do you fish. I am guessing you may have to travel a fair way? All the best Glyn

welcome flyman, and good luck with Tenkara. I believe you have a lot of coarse fishing, you'll have fun with that I'm sure.
Best wishes, Louis

Thank you both for your welcomewishes. We have a big river here in Limburg, called the Maas, and several little rivers. We flyfish for barbel, chub, asp en sometimes we catch brown or seatrout, so, plenty of fishing possibilities here I like to fish in the Alpine mountain rivers where the water is wild and full of brown trout and brook trout once or twice a year.
I hope that one day I can fish in South-England.
Kind regards,
Rene

I've sent a few of my rods into Belgium. Alpine mountain waters look like lots of fun.
Welcome to the forum.

Indeed, Alpine waters are really fun to fish. Climbing, crawling, searching for those tiny pockets, casting ... and catching (well not always ). Rene
