I have been fishing Tenkara since 2010 and have adapted Tenkara fishing for targeting Perch on the Dorset Stour and Dorset Avon.
During the winter months I can be found on the River Frome targeting the grayling. I fish Tenkara 80% of my fishing time a enjoy the minimal tackle approach which i have now adopted for all my fishing techniques, i.e simplifying my set up and taking as minimal amount as tackle so I can fish a more roving style.
I furl my own leaders for tenkara fishing which has enabled me to customise a leader setup that suits my style.
I hope to pick up some tips and advice from like minded tenkara fisherman.
Thank you for allowing me to join the tenkara forum.
Kind Regards Dorsettenkara

Thanks for the welcome.
I have used furled leaders for all of my flying fishing life and adapted longer furled leaders for tenkara.
Kind regards Dorsettenkara

Welcome, lots of friendly advice here. Post some images of those furled leaders please. I made some to the recipes and technique of Eji 'Eddie' Yamakawa and Hiromichi Fuji. Played with horse hair too.
Cheers
Phil
