This is really sad news. I met him at the Fly fair but my main memory of him was helping me cast half way across the Dee on a very windy day in November. His videos were great and instructive. I shall always remember him when I use one of his rods.

for information: Mike's funeral is at Charnock Richard crematorium on Wednesday 15th, at 2.00pm.
There will be a celebration of his life at Curley's Fishery afterwards ( with much beer and an Irish band).
