I have placed a thread in the Fly Dressing forum and embedded a link to a youtube video. When I am creating the comment the hyperlink shows correctly IMO. That is to say 'HERE' is blue and underlined. But when I click 'Create/Post' the comment appears without HERE being distinct (that's why I resorted to upper case). When mousing over the thread the pointer becomes a hand over the word HERE and the link works. Upper case is somewhat heavy handed, and the classic blue underlined would alert readers to drill deeper. So how do I get the link to appear discinct? Thanks, Greg

Hi Greg, I tend to underline the link text within the post first - and then highlight that text again to select the "link" tags around it all. That way the link appears as an underlined piece of text.
Hope this helps

Will do the underlinging first next time. Odd that it shows on the draft but not on the actual. Other sites work so I guess it has something to do with the webhost for this site. Thanks for the tip. Anyway, my nearby friend and I have ordered the Tenkara Times Try 360, so eagerly await the post. I have tied a number of T-flies and will post one on the 'dressings' page which is not typical (but not unsual

Hi Greg I had the same problem until I figured out a way to highlight the lettering I wished to link in the familiar light blue. I've posted a screenshot as an attachment with some coloured arrows pointing the way. See below. 1. When you have clicked the link button and created the text you wish to link, as you say it does not by default highlight in blue as one would expect. 2. To highlight the text, click and drag to first to select the text, in this example, 'here.' Indicated with the dark blue arrow. 3. Click the colour wheel button. Indicated by the red arrow and you will see the following small box appear with the colour blue selected, as one would have liked it in the first place. 4. Just click the button OK. Indicated by the green arrow. Then carry on with the remainder of completing your post. When you click preview the text ought to be highlighted blue and also, more importantly when you create the post. Hope those steps help out and the instructions not too obtuse Cheers Phil
