A friend of mine bought a Diawa LT39sf from a japanese dealer on ebay. First time out with the rod playing a 6 inch fish the rod snapped on section 5 a clean break. The details which came with the rod regarding warranty from Diawa are all in Japanese and my friend has tried to contact the seller on ebay to no avail.
Does anyone know of how to obtain a spare section or submit a warranty claim to Diawa?
Thanks in advance
Jonathan

I have the same rod, bought through Tenkarabum (Chris Stewart) - I'm sure he can help. Pretty expensive though due to import tax etc, etc.

Chris is brilliant. Just add vat to cost + £8 for post office fi to collect for custom /excise. Usually takes 2-3 weeks Mark
