You did well considering the river level. The title of your post says narbeth, did you fish the cleddau too?

no i did,nt fish the cleddau but will fish the next time i 8-)am in the area.i have looked at your post and goggle earth picture of beach and small trout stream i no the area you are talking about and it looks very fishy.how do you fish for pollack and bass on a tenkara rod .

The bass and pollock were on western rods, pick any remote cove around the coast of Pembrokeshire big tides are the best and fish the last hour in and the first hour out. They seem to come in really close on big tides I think they like to escape the strong sea currents on these tides and move into the coves . I have tried tenkara but no success yet. I fish the brook with a t rod.
