Here's a pattern I knocked up last night after considering my struggles to catch rising trout on a sakasa kebari. I'm planning to tie a few more sakasa kebari to sit on or in the surface film for the coming season. I'd be interested to know what other tenkara anglers think about tying sakasa kebari this way ? Also as a side note, I've ditched sakasakebari.blogspot.co.uk and transferred all my posts to thetroutfly.blogspot.co.uk as it's easier for me to keep everything under one roof so to speak.

Great looking fly, just reading your blog some good info on there. I really like the look of the simple cdc dry on there " first cdc fly for ages heading" that's my kind of fly, I'll be tying up some of them for the new season.

Hey, thanks Paul. I noticed on my original post of the Simple CDC Fly I promised a video in the comments, I must have forgot at the time but I uploaded on this morning.

Thanks for that, I'll let you know how I get on with them once the season starts in march.
