I'm off fishing tonight with this stuff: I got a spool of each size in to see if it will work as an alternative to the now discontinued hi-vis orange fluorocarbon line everyone has come to love. It has the same bright orange but also a vivid pink in alternating sections separated by clear fluorocarbon. I've always maintained that to see the most subtle of takes you need a line with contrast. Hence the recommendation to "zebra stripe" furled leaders and braided leaders which are one colour. Fluorocarbon does not lend itself to this because the ink doesn't stick too well.. Another advantage is that you can choose what colour (or lack off) is nearest the fish. It's really a personal preference thing. I'll be going with orange most of the time and clear for the spooky fish. The colours higher up should give me the contrast to see the takes. This is not for sale by me yet, just a test sample. It is "out there" if you want it. I'll see if I can take a few pictures while I'm out and report back on how it casts compared with the Hi-Vis Fluorocarbon. ...as a bonus, this stuff will be much cheaper if it works! Anyone got any comments, thoughts or feelings about this experiment? Cust.

Hardly a test for it last evening because the amount of casting was so limited. What I can say is that I felt it was slightly stiller then the hi-vis orange and cast better. I'll had to do more side by side testing where I can get a proper cast in. As for visibility, it's not quite as easy to see as the full orange because there is less coloured area to focus on. However, as the evening progressed I began to like it more because where the tip was lost in the surface glare and section higher up could be slighted and every quiver over the rough water noted. The pink and orange were almost indistinguishable in the poor light of the Glen. It was overcast and drizzling but they could still be seen and like the other line they glow! Got to get on some bigger water where I can put them side by side to test the merits or each.

I've tried it with my Shimano NB, the casting is absolutely matches Sunline SUPER CAST FC NAGE MONO COLOR high visible line. The visibility is good, but unfortunately I had not tested it the twilight.

I'v also saw on the internet that they sell size 2.5 and also 2 and 1. Any idea if you get these also for sale?
Its for fishing light lines and for making tapered lines. So size 4 is to heavy in my opinion. 3 is good but to heavy for long distance. I rather see also a size 2 and maybe a 1.5 in your stock so there is more choice for different anglers with different requirements.

I have a 2# on the way. Unless there's demand it's very expensive to keep dead stock. So far none has been sold.

When you have a 2.5 or 2 line in stock I will order them all at once.
I quess I like the lines because maybe the orange level lines are too bright so they will spook the fish when the water is very clear. I think it's good to have a alternative by hand if needed.
When you expect to have the line in stock?
