Just a couple of pictures from t'interweb of some of our water which show why I think Tenkara is idea for our rivers. River Glass: Sulby River: An Island Images picture © Jon WornhamRever Neb: None of the pictures are mine. I'll have plenty when the season starts. There are other rivers as well just as pretty and full of wbt with the very brightest of red spots.

Hi Dave All the details on costs and seasons can be found at www.gov.im/daff/fish/inland/ . There are some restricted areas that clubs have got hold of but the vast majority of the water is open. When I'm out on the rivers it is very rare I encounter anyone, unless I'm after salmon and sea trout at one of the favoured holding pools. Unfortunately I can't offer accomodation, but I would be more than happy to show you round the water and come fishing. Cheers Cust.

That river look fantastic I didn't realise the IOM had such lovely rivers, I thought it would be too small an Island. What's the sea trout fishing like?

It is excellent. They run to double figures and I think I hit one last weekend. Unfortunately I didn't manage to land it on my rod because I was on a ledge surrounded by deep water and couldn't follow the fish.
