Guys, Is it okay to continue using breathable waders for winter grayling fishing or will I need to go out and buy a pair of neoprene ones I'm thinking about my tootsies. I don't want them to drop off leckie

They are all I use, just remember lots of layers underneath! I fished last year during the hard winter and managed OK.

Simon,
Thanks for the information - that's saved me a few bob! I'll be dressed like the michelin man when I go grayling fishing in the depths of winter plus I bought these gel hand warmers as well.

Remember the neoprene socks are the same which ever type of waders you use?

During the colder months I where fleece lined under garment under my breathable waders.
I like simons option of neoprene socks. Will have to look into purchasing some.
I suffer with poor circulation to my feet and therefore wear two pairs of ski socks (thin type) and do not suffer to much. I find the key to fishing in cold water coditions is to keep moving and ensure you get out of the water occasionally to minimise constant water submersion.
Kind regards SKUK

Simon, I bought a pair of neoprene socks and they are brilliant. Santa even got me another pair just in case...well they don't last for ever. Thanks for the advice. leckie
