Sonia my best friend; fishing partner and wife passed away on Sunday night after a very short battle with cancer caused by asbestos. I hope that those who knew her or met her will take a minute to remember her. Next year’s fishing will not be the same without her, she loved her fishing. Simon.

Simon
Please accept my sincere condolences. Although I never knew her or met her I enjoyed reading her posts in which her passion for fishing came across.. She sounded a lovely lady.

My deepest sympathies, Simon. Sonia's adventurous spirit and your mutual love of fishing shone out in the videos you posted, the last so recently.

Simon, I was so shocked to hear your very sad news. Like the others I never had the good fortune of meeting her but did enjoy hearing about her fishings. My sincere condolences. I will be thinking of you on the 10th. Ian.

Thanks for all the kind and supportive comments, Sonia was cremated last Thursday, it was a good day, everybody said the goodbyes, then we partied back at home until the early hours just as Sonia had instructed!
Simon.
