Personally, I would have loved to go to this. What an interesting area to fish! Sadly, I am committed to a prebooked outing with the family, but best wishes to all who go to the event. Well done Glyn!

For your info the day went really well with around 25 attendees. This day was put on but the Lugg and Arrow fisheries association through the Wye and Usk foundation who arranged the day on a range of beats on the WUF scheme I did a presentation and on stream demonstration and the attendees then spit into groups on different beats with a helper with the group. There was an encouraging number of fish caught and some Tenkara virgins are no more! Many thanks to Angus Campbell who represented the Tenkara Centre Uk and who helped with rods for people to borrow and use and did some support work also. Thanks also to Richard Adeney, Seth Johnson Marshall and Roger Smith who gave freely of their time to support the learners. Initial feedback was extremely positive when we met after fishing for a soak up session and there were plenty of smiling faces. There may be other similar events organised on a similar basis in the future. It all helps to spread the word about Tenkara . Tight lines Glyn

Well done everyone. Unfortunately I was tied up hat weekend and couldn't make the trip.
