I was thinking of doing a bit of camping/tenkara in the Peak District this year. Does anyone know of some good spots for tenkara? I'm more interested in the out of the way less fished areas for wild brownies, interesting water.
Cheers Paul

A lot of the peak district fishing is run by clubs with relatively few day ticket options. The Peacock hotel at Rowsley and the day ticket section of Cressbrook and Litton being notable exceptions. However, for off the beaten track options, it could be good to check out some of the Peak Passport scheme's beats. Link here www.peakanglingpassport.co.uk/

Thank you for the replies, the passport scheme looks good, I think it will be that and a tent. The Peacock Hotel looks a bit posh for me.

Did you get to try the passport scheme? If so, is there anywhere in particular you would recommend?

Sorry only just noticed this reply, sadly due to work, kids and the usual stresses of life I never made it to the Peak District, maybe next year
