Being housebound for most of the winter, it has been difficult to find things to keep me occupied. Making enough trotting floats to fill every tackle box, plus a good number as presents, left me looking around for something else to make. Kebari flies were problematic as the hand tremors have not improved and I was not able to go out in search of a suitable piece of wood for a Tamo. Improvise something from the materials I had seemed in the spirit of Tenkara, so I set about making tippet and spare line storage spools in a custom box. Not a high degree of craftsmanship you will agree but it did give me pleasure for few snowy days.
