Not sure if this is a stupid question but here goes.
How long should you be able to use the same fluorocarbon level line, assuming there is no obvious signs of wear damage etc.?
Should you refresh every season as a matter of course or whenever there are signs of degradation (and what would those be)?.

Can't see any reason to change it except for damage.I've used the same line for 2 years.

I fully agree. Fluorocarbon does not degrade in UV light so as long as you don't mangle it in a tree branch or damage it in any other way it should last a life time.
