I have not been posting for a while now because of a lack of fishing due to a shoulder injury! Anyway I'm having an op very soon but that will stop me fishing maybe for the whole season, but that will give me time to take a greater part in the posts.

Hope you get yourself fixed up soon Simon and whilst it is a bummer to miss a few months it will be worth it in the long run. I guess Sonia will have her own personal ghillie! Look forward to your posts. If the weather carries on like this you will not miss much anyway! All the best Glyn

Good idea fishing left handed! Will be surprised if Sonia offers to net my fish. Going to have my last fish at Chirk this coming weekend, don't care if my shoulder hurts they can fix that on Monday.

Thanks for the messages, operation went OK just feels like a JCB has driven over my shoulder. Manage a quick fish on a still water on Sunday, not Tenkara, after a couple of hours very few fish were caught my shoulder started hurting so I changed to an indicator with a blood worm below. The idea was that I would not have to cast so much and rest my shoulder, big mistake! four casts 4 fish around the 3lb mark, shoulder now very painful! Hoping after 12 weeks I should be able to wet my T rod in anger.

Great to hear it went well. Now all you have to do is rest it so you can get back to pain free fishing quicker!
