Hi all,
I have a question for you to mill over:
To what degree would you say tenkara could be applied to upland Stillwater fishing - typically hill lochs, tarns etc with a head of small to middling wild trout? I fish this kind of water a lot and as you'd no doubt agree, most of the fishing is highly mobile and conducted at short range with a pair or trio of wets, or a single, maybe double dry fly set up. It feels to me like tenkara could be employed, but to what effect? Anyone ever tried it?
Cheers M

If you search back through the threads either this year or last year there was info on this topic that you might find useful. Sorry I cannot be more specific but it is there! Gly

Glen Pointon and his mates fished the lochs of Islay using tenkara rods to great effect a couple of seasons back. There was clip on Facebook at the time.
