I might just try strapping a rod tube to my small back pack first. If it doesn't suit i can order the Quiver later on.I have often wondered about the Ocean waders. What's the traction like on slippery rocks with Oceans. The rivers i fish are very slippy & i normally go for studs with felt sole.Cheers

My Ocean waders are studded, if you are thinking of getting a pair make sure they are the studded version. I don't find them any more slippy than rubber sole studded wading boots, although I always wade with a staff. They can be hot and sweaty in the Summer I'm told, but one friend wears them all the year round and he thinks because the top end is very baggy air can circulate.
