Rod tips for the 410cm ... No problem Gary. These things happen. Drop me an email to sales @ esoterictackle. co. uk (without the spaces, to avoid spam bots) and I'll get you sorted out. Hi Cust just emailed through the item on Ebay. Cheers Gary

Sorry for delayed response. All that Chris said earlier is true - one of the tips was purposely broken and not in a way you would experience on the water. It was also an inexpensive rod. What did not dawn on me then, but does now, is that graphite shouldn't snap like that - the ends should be frayed when broken, Those tips were not and were clean breaks. To me that suggests that somehow the fibers were compromised.
In any event my experience cannot speak to what would happen with a higher end rod.

Did'nt break my rod tip fishing, whilst on holliday in Scotland after fishing i took it apart to give it a wipe down, I then put the tip section back into the second the wrong way round and it jammed permanently. I tried all sorts of ways to get them apart but they wouldnt budge, so i thought iv'e lost anyway and forced them, and as mentioned earlier spares were very cheap to buy. The worst thing was i had to fish rod and reel for the rest of my holls.
