They look like they have different hackles and body colours. Does one of them have a tail as well?
If I ask very nicely could you estimate the tying materials used for these flies please? I'd like to give them a go here.

Hi Cus,
First i must stress i haven't tied these flies.
Looking at them i would say the bodies are tightly whipped orange, yellow & purple thread.
The soft hackles look like various shades of lighter & darker partridge with the exeption of the one with the tail which has a couple of turns of fine cock grizzle & a few turns of soft partridge hackle. Im afraid i couldn't tell you what material the tail is. Some sort of guard hair maybe?
To give you some indication of size, The bottom right fly is on a size 18 hook.
I hope this helps you Cus. Regards Stevie.

That's a great help thank you. Is there any rib on the bodies or are they just plain thread?

Hi Stevie,
Thanks for the photos and the information. I have been into my local tackle shop nearest to the Tweed and they havent heard of the famous Jingler.
However You tube comes up top again. There are two version to choose from March brown Jingler etc..
Great stuff looking forward to using them next time im on the tweed hopefully end of this week once the water level has dropped a bit after all the rain..
Tight lines

Cus, Theres no rib on the flies just a very tightly whipped thread.
Buglife, I have often wondered what a black jingler would fish like? All the best on the Tweed.
Regards Stevie.

Thank you for the extra info. I'll have to tie some up after a scout on you tube.
