Unfortunately I will now be unable to attend, family matters have come up that weekend. I will however be fishing South Wales the following week (probably Thurs-Sat) if anybody wants to join.
I am really bummed this isn't now working out.

Sorry Toneman. The Ceiriog has gone up very slightly, but it is currently dropping back and is still well below normal levels. "The river level at Brynkinalt is 0.15 metres. This measurement was recorded at 16:00 on 15/08/2015. The typical river level range for this location is between 0.17 metres and 0.73 metres." (Source E.A.)

Looking forward to meeting up again cust'.
The good news is that following heavy rain the Ceiriog has been well up but falling back. Hopefully we'll be able to fish some sensible water but as I said previously, lets firm this up in the week before.
I should have said that shorter rods will be better.

What is your recommended length for the water? 360cm and shorter?

360 would be maximum, your 'baby' will be very good. Some pools are open but other quite tight.

Great.. I'll bring along a prototype as well a few of my little rods, just in case anyone is struggling and would like a try. Of course I'll have my longer rods as well for the Dee after the event.
