Many thanks to everyone who attended to make it a memorable day - and grateful thanks of course to the Ceiriog Flyfishing Club.

Thanks to all for organising a great day. I managed to catch fish this time 5 in all. Sorry I could not meet up for the meal.

Also from me a big thanks for both Louis organizing the event and the Ceiriog Fly Fishing Club for hosting us again. I very much hope this was not the last time . Also, great to see those again who I met last year and to make new friends! Tight Lines y'all, Karel

Thanks for producing the video. It was good to see some different water to the one I fished.

Due to the current state of play with the forum I'm not sure what to do about a social Ceiriog day next season.
Ceiriog Flyfishers are in the process of merging with Corwen so this will be our last chance on the Ceiriog.
We have been invited and at the worst I could contact those who have previously supported the day.
If you think you may be interested then please post soon as I need to respond to the club.
Thanks.

Louis
I thoroughly enjoyed this years Tenkara Social Day and would love it to continue, perhaps on a more frequent basis, although I do understand the amount of work involved in organising it.
I fish 'tenkara' all the year round and would love to meet up with others of a like mind for a days fishing on suitable rivers, so if anyone fancies a day out in the West Midlands area then please post me. Likewise if you have any suggestions of day ticket waters that would be suitable I would be most interested.

I would love to come back up to Wales and participate in another Welsh Social Day. I have greatly enjoyed meeting everybody and fishing the Ceiriog. Karel

Thanks Larry & Karel, lets see how the numbers go but I'm confident we can have a day, even with reduced interest.
Larry: would very much like to fish with you, lets stay in touch - obviously weather permitting at this time of year.
Best wishes all for Xmas and the New Year.

Louis Hi Louis I would love to attend, the Ceiriog looks like great Trod water. For me I would prefer earlier in June than the last weekend as I'm usually gone for the Summer by then. Brian

Louis, I would like to attend also. Great event. More threads may be created once the Trout season reopens. Ian.

Louis We are always open to requests for days like this on our waters (before the merger), I see no reason why the Ceiriog Tenkara day should stop. I know of a few Corwen members that would be interested too.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed interest.
The Ceiriog Fly Fishing club has kindly offered us 2 days due to increased interest and I can confirm these as Saturday May 5th and June 9th.
Numbers are limited to 10 per day and the cost to non CFF members is £15.
It's someway off I know but it would be helpful if you could let me know which day you'd prefer to fish and I'll try to accomodate that.
More details nearer the time.
Best wishes for Xmas and next season.
Louis
